The State Bank of India(SBI) has released a major recruitment drive for the post of Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales), commonly known as SBI Clerk. With over 9,000 vacancies up for grabs across various states, this news brings huge relief and hope to thousands of banking aspirants across the country.

To apply for these positions, candidates must hold a graduation degree in any subject from a recognized university. Final year college students can also apply provisionally, provided they can show proof of passing before the specified cutoff date. The age of the applicant should generally be between 20 and 28 years, though standard age relaxations apply for reserved categories according to government rules. The selection process will consist of three clear stages: an online Preliminary Examination, a Main Examination, and a Local Language Proficiency Test. Applicants must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking the official local language of the state they choose to apply from.

Interested candidates must submit their application forms through the official SBI website. The online application window is closing soon in September, so students are advised not to wait until the final hours to avoid severe website server traffic.
