Prime Minister Narendra Modi has shared a sarcastic post on social media after the Congress party suffered a massive defeat in the recent Legislative Council (MLC) bypolls. Elections were held for 28 seats across four major states, including Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Bihar, and Karnataka, using ballot papers.
To everyone surprise, the Congress party failed to win even a single seat. They drew a complete blank across all four states, losing even in Karnataka where the Congress party is currently in power. Taking to social media, PM Modi highlighted the results and posted a direct question to the public, asking people to guess how many seats the grand old party managed to secure out of the total 28.
This tweet quickly became viral, with BJP leaders mocking the opposition's weak ground presence. Political analysts say this heavy setback has raised serious questions about the Congress party's strategy and popularity among voters ahead of upcoming state elections.
