The Philippines has already received BrahMos systems worth around 330 million dollars. Meanwhile, upcoming export agreements with Indonesia for 200 million dollars and Vietnam for 100 million dollars are being finalized.

What makes BrahMos so popular among foreign nations is its speed, accuracy, and battle proven success during Operation Sindoor. The missile system also features an air launched version that works smoothly on Sukhoi aircraft, giving buyer nations strong coastal anti ship defense in the South China Sea region.

This rising demand has pushed Indias total defence exports to an all time record high of 38,424 crore rupees in FY 2025-26. This shows an impressive 62 percent growth compared to last year. Public sector firms contributed 54.8 percent to total exports, while private companies added 45.2 percent.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh highlighted that BrahMos is not just a powerful missile, but a strong symbol of Indias growing domestic manufacturing power. As Indian defence items now reach more than 80 countries, BrahMos continues to lead the nation's historic journey into the competitive global military marketplace.
