The holy Golden Temple Sri Harmandir Sahib in Amritsar is getting ready to celebrate Guru Nanak Jayanti Gurpurab on November 24, 2026, with huge devotion and joy. Marking the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of Sikhism, this special occasion attracts millions of devotees from all over the world.
This year, Sri Harmandir Sahib is setting up a record breaking grand light show Deepmala. The entire temple complex will shine bright with thousands of beautiful golden lights and traditional clay diyas. Their glowing reflection in the sacred water Sarovar, followed by spectacular night fireworks, promises to be a unforgettable sight for visitors.
Along with the bright decorations, the temple management is hosting a massive 24 hour mega langar drive.
