Hyundai is set to launch the new Hyundai Bayon in India on October 26, 2026. The compact SUV is expected to attract buyers looking for modern technology, stylish design and everyday practicality. Bookings have opened for a reported token amount of ₹11,000.

The India spec Hyundai Bayon is equipped with a 1.5 litre, four cylinder naturally aspirated MPi petrol engine. It produces 115 PS of power and 144 Nm of torque. Buyers can choose between a six speed manual gearbox and an Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT).

One of the major highlights is its technology focused cabin. The SUV features dual 12.3 inch displays and an advanced connected infotainment system. Hyundai has also introduced an AI powered voice assistant, over-the-air software updates and more than 70 Bluelink connected car features. The voice system supports English, Hindi, Hinglish, Tamil, Bengali and Telugu, helping make the experience more accessible to Indian customers.

Hyundai has not officially announced the final variant-wise prices. Media estimates suggest an ex-showroom price range of approximately ₹9 lakh to ₹14 lakh. The Bayon is expected to compete in India compact SUV market, where buyers also consider models such as the Hyundai Venue and Maruti Suzuki Victoris. Official mileage figures and the complete safety feature list are yet to be confirmed. The Bayon final value will depend on its pricing, equipment and real world performance.
