Tech giant Apple is getting ready to launch its first ever MacBook Pro featuring an advanced OLED display but buyers will need to shell out much more money this time. According to industry reports, the upcoming premium laptop will come with a significantly higher price tag compared to the current generation models.
The 14-inch OLED MacBook Pro is expected to start between $2,799 and $2,999 in global markets. For tech lovers in India, this means the starting price could cross a massive ₹3.5 lakh to ₹4 lakh. This major price hike is mainly due to the high cost of cutting edge tandem OLED screen panels, potential touchscreen hardware and rising memory prices worldwide.
The upcoming MacBook Pro is tipped to offer major design and performance upgrades. The new OLED panel will deliver deeper black levels super vivid colors, and higher contrast for video editors and creators. Reports also suggest that Apple might introduce touch controls and replace the traditional display notch with an interactive Dynamic Island. Under the hood it is expected to pack Apple ultra powerful M5 Pro and M5 Max chips.
