Ayushmann Khurrana is back with a different and unusual film. The first poster of Udta Teer has been released, and it has already caught attention because of its quirky take on the India Pakistan theme. In the poster, Ayushmann can be seen relaxing on a hammock placed between markers representing India and Pakistan. He appears to be hanging right on the border, giving the poster a humorous and unexpected look. A Top Secret file can also be seen with him, while a goat wearing sunglasses adds another funny element to the visual.
The poster carries the tagline, Desh Bhakti Yaad Hai, Par Desh Nahi, hinting that the movie may explore patriotism, borders and the idea of a nation through comedy and entertainment rather than in a serious way. Udta Teer stars Sara Ali Khan opposite Ayushmann Khurrana. The two actors are appearing together again after Pati Patni Aur Woh Do, which was released earlier in 2026.
The film is written and directed by Akash A Kaushik and is produced by Dharma Productions and Sikhya Entertainment. Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla and Apoorva Mehta are among the producers, with Guneet Monga Kapoor and Achin Jain also serving as producers. Udta Teer is scheduled to release in cinemas on October 9, 2026. The film is expected to bring a mix of comedy and a unique perspective on the India Pakistan equation.
