SRIHARIKOTA The Indian Space Research Organisation ISRO is all set to launch its next generation Earth Observation Satellite EOS 05 from Sriharikota on September 4 2026. The mission marks ISRO return to major satellite deployments using the powerful GSLV F17 rocket launcher. Final system checks are underway across the launch pad facility to ensure smooth trajectory alignment.

Equipped with advanced multi spectral imaging instruments and optical sensors EOS 05 is engineered to monitor land cover changes and atmospheric conditions with high precision. The data gathered will directly assist national disaster management agencies in tracking real time weather shifts and flood risks across India.
