In a tragic morning incident, eight people lost their lives and eight others suffered severe injuries when a mini bus plunged into a 15 foot deep drain along the Delhi Mumbai Expressway near Kota in Rajasthan. The vehicle was carrying passengers traveling from Madhya Pradesh toward the Khatu Shyam Ji temple when the tragedy occurred.
The fast mini bus suddenly lost control, veered off the road, and flipped upside down into the concrete drain filled with silt and water. Local residents rushed to the crash site immediately to help victims trapped inside the damaged vehicle. Emergency teams quickly arrived with heavy cranes to lift the wreckage and rescue survivors.
The injured passengers were rushed to the MBS Hospital and New Medical College in Kota for immediate medical treatment.
