Young Indian cricketer Vaibhav Sooryavanshi is receiving huge praise from former India chief selector Chetan Sharma. He believes the 15 year old batter has the talent to make India proud, just like cricket legends Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli. Speaking to news agency IANS at the opening ceremony of the School Total T20 League in Delhi, Sharma said playing international cricket at just 15 is a big achievement. He called Vaibhav a talented player and a valuable asset for the country.

Sharma also praised the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for managing the young player. He said he hopes Vaibhav will grow into a big star and bring glory to India in the coming years. Vaibhav is currently part of India T20 squad for the series against the West Indies. However, according to the report, he did not feature in the playing eleven for the first four matches.

The young batter has already made an impressive start to his international T20 career. He has played eight matches, scoring 246 runs at an average of 30.75 and a strike rate of 186.36. His scores include two half centuries, with a highest score of 81 runs. Vaibhav fearless batting has raised hopes among cricket fans. However, he is still at the beginning of his career, and consistent performances will be important as he develops into an international player.
