Apple appears to be considering a radical change to its Fitness and subscription service. Based on details in a job listing, the company is exploring the idea of "live" sessions. The listing, posted on July 24 and seeking a studio producer, refers to live content or live fitness experiences no fewer than 11 times. Apple Fitness+ is looking for a Producer with a strong foundation in live or live-to-tape multi-camera production and a genuine curiosity about where live content is headed next, the listing reads in part.

At present, Apple Fitness+ offers recorded video sessions for exercise routines like Yoga, HIIT, Dance, Strength Training, and Running. Users watch these videos on their iPhone, iPad, or Apple TV while tracking their heart rate and burned calories through an Apple Watch or AirPods. The upcoming live upgrade could change this completely. Industry insiders suggest that Apple may introduce real time live classes. This means users will be able to join live workout sessions directly from their homes and exercise alongside expert trainers in real time.

Additionally, the live feature might allow friends and family members to join the same workout session together over video call. Users will be able to see each others live health stats, share real time encouragement, and compare their effort levels on a live leaderboard. This step is seen as Apple direct response to growing competition from home fitness brands like Peloton. By blending live social connection with smart health tracking, Apple wants to make exercising at home feel like a real group gym class. For Indian fitness enthusiasts who enjoy exercising at home, this new feature will make daily workouts much more social, fun, and motivating. Official announcements and rollout details from Apple are expected during their upcoming product events.
