Global technology research firm Gartner has issued a sharp warning about a potential Artificial Intelligence bubble. In its latest report, Gartner stated that more than $3.5 trillion spent on AI hardware, data centers, and specialized chips could face severe financial write downs by the end of 2030.

Tech giants and cloud service providers across the globe are spending huge amounts of money to build massive AI infrastructure. However, the money earned from AI software and consumer tools is growing at a much slower pace than expected. According to Gartner calculations, companies need to generate around $8.5 trillion in revenue to cover these heavy investments, but actual earnings may reach only $3.6 trillion by 2030.This massive gap means that costly servers and computer chips are losing value much faster than they can make money.

Gartner warns that over 80% of specialized cloud service companies often called neocloud providers might fail or shut down independent operations by 2030 if the current trend continues. Experts suggest that while AI technology will keep growing, investors and big firms must focus on real profits rather than blindly putting money into hype driven tech infrastructure.
