Filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari upcoming epic Ramayana has created massive excitement across the country as the costliest Indian film ever made. Reports revealed that producer Namit Malhotra planned a whopping $500 million (around ₹4,000 crore) budget for the two part project. Now, superstar Yash, who plays Ravana in the film, has finally cleared the confusion. Speaking on the popular show Aap Ki Adalat with host Rajat Sharma, Yash explained that people have misunderstood the figures.

According to Yash, the ₹4,000 crore sum covers both Part One and Part Two, along with massive worldwide release and promotion costs. He compared this strategy to Hollywood movies, where marketing budgets often match or exceed production costs to target a global audience. He stated that Indian cinema must step up as a soft power to succeed on the world stage.

The recently unveiled trailer introduced an all star cast including Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama,Sai Pallavi as Sita Mata, Sunny Deol, and Arun Govil. Backed by VFX giant DNEG's Namit Malhotra and featuring music by Oscar winners Hans Zimmer and A.R. Rahman, the film aims to set global standards. Ramayana Part One hits theaters worldwide during Diwali on November 6, while the second part will arrive on Diwali next year.
