A major blame game has started between US President Donald Trump, billionaire Elon Musk, and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy over internet services in Ukraine. The issue began when Ukraine faced sudden speed limits on Starshield, a special military version of SpaceX Starlink internet. This service is very important for Ukrainian military drones and air defense systems against Russian strikes.
Elon Musk said that the US government and the US military control these speed limits, so the main decision lies with President Trump. However, White House officials denied this claim completely. They said President Trump did not give any orders to slow down the internet for Ukraine. Top officials added that SpaceX is a private company, so Elon Musk makes his own decisions.
On the other hand, reports suggest Elon Musk personally restricted the system before speaking with the White House. Meanwhile, Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed deep concern. He warned that internet slow downs put lives at risk and hurt defense operations.
Donald Trump recently stated that internet access is back at full speed. Even so, Ukrainian teams say connections are still not back to normal. This dispute highlights growing pressure on Kyiv as top leaders continue to point fingers at each other.
