Reliance Jio has officially set the buzz alive in the Indian share market with the announcement of its huge Initial Public Offering (IPO) price details. The company has fixed the current IPO price band between ₹1,065 and ₹1,119 per share. Retail investors can apply for the issue in lots, where one minimum lot consists of 12 shares. This means an investor needs a minimum investment of ₹13,428 to bid for one lot at the top price of ₹1,119.
This massive ₹30,213 crore IPO is one of the biggest market events in recent Indian history. Reliance Jio is bringing this public issue entirely through fresh share issuance to lower company debt and support future business plans. Existing shareholders such as Reliance Industries, Google, and Meta are keeping their current holdings without selling any shares.
Stock market experts state that the grey market premium (GMP) is already showing strong investor interest, suggesting potential profits on the listing day. Bidding is currently open for retail and institutional buyers, with shares expected to list on the stock exchange very soon. Investors are advised to double-check their UPI applications and place bids before the closing period ends.
