In a major breakthrough Mathura police and the Special Task Force (STF) have solved the shocking ₹12 crore gold heist at Jugal Kishore Jewellers in Kosi Kalan. Authorities arrested the main mastermind identified as former shop employee Vishnu alias Pappu Soni alongside three of his family members.
According to officials the accused planned the robbery out of revenge after being fired from his job. Knowing the layout of the showroom Vishnu entered the premises during the night by cutting through the roof using a gas cutter. He stayed inside the shop for nearly seven hours to open the locker and steal valuable gold ornaments along with cash.
The crime came to light when the shop owner reported the massive theft. Police teams immediately scanned over 100 CCTV camera feeds across the area to track down the suspect. After following key video leads officers intercepted and arrested the entire group. Police recovered over 7 kg of stolen gold jewellery valued at ₹12 crore and ₹11 lakh in cash returning 100% of the looted items to the business owner. All four suspects are now in custody.
