The Indian stock market ended its two-day losing streak on a positive note today, giving great relief to lakhs of retail investors across the country. After facing heavy selling pressure in the previous sessions, buyers returned to Dalal Street, pushing the major benchmark indices back into the green zone.

The 30-share BSE Sensex jumped over 114 points to settle at a higher level, while the broader NSE Nifty 50 surged to close at 24,396. Market experts noted that strong buying in banking, auto, and IT shares helped the market recover during the final trading hours.

The morning trading session started on a slow note, but steady support from domestic institutional investors brought stability back into the market. Positive signals from Asian and European markets also boosted the confidence of local traders. Out of the 30 Sensex stocks, major gainers included leading private banks and consumer goods companies.

On the other hand, a few pharmaceutical and metal stocks saw mild selling pressure, keeping overall market gains in check. However, investor sentiment remained strong as mid-cap and small-cap stocks also showed decent buying interest throughout the day.

Financial analysts advise retail investors to stay cautious, as short-term market movements will depend on foreign fund flows and global economic trends. For today, Indian share markets closed on a happy note, bringing back smiles after two days of continuous losses.
