China robotics company Unitree Robotics has grabbed global attention after releasing a video of its new humanoid robot performing powerful moves. Named H2-X Kung Fu Legend Guardian, the robot is shown kicking car doors, fighting off a knife wielding attacker and rescuing people from dangerous situations.

The video has attracted millions of views online, with people surprised by the robot strength and human like movements. In the promotional video, the H2-X is seen disarming a person holding a knife, jumping down from a height of around four metres and lifting a vehicle to free a person trapped underneath. In another scene, it moves a pedestrian away from an approaching car.

Unitree says the robot is designed to help protect people and support rescue work. The company has also claimed a standby endurance of around eight hours. However, it has not shared complete details about the robot price, launch date or battery performance during demanding tasks. One important question remains unanswered, can the robot perform these actions independently, or does it need human control or pre programmed instructions The company has not clearly explained how the demonstrations were carried out.

The video has received mixed reactions. While many viewers praised the progress in robotics, others raised concerns about developing machines with fighting abilities. The launch highlights how companies are trying to move humanoid robots beyond dancing and entertainment towards real world uses, including security and emergency rescue. However, the video alone does not prove that the robot is ready for everyday use.
