Mahindra unveiled the Mahindra Bolero Vision S concept at its Independence Day showcase. It arrived alongside Vision T, Vision X and Vision SXT all riding on the fresh NU.IQ platform. That architecture adapts across powertrains and body sizes, from sub-4 metre to larger SUVs. The Vision S cuts a clean silhouette, crisp angles everywhere. That boxy form isn’t just retro-cool it promises real cabin space. The front sports the new Twin Peaks logo framed by vertical LED stacks and an L-shaped headlight layout for bold modernity.

Cladding, roof-mounted lights, stout bumper and flared wheel arches suggest off-road grit. Sleek details like flush handles, slim mirrors and refined wheels hint production credibility.

Vision S could influence Bolero’s new face

Spy images of Bolero’s next generation show a shift on multiple fronts. New front fascia includes round, G-Wagen-style lights, vertical taillights, flush handles and muscular shoulder lines. Builders are leaving ladder-frame roots for a monocoque chassis, enhancing refinement and efficiency.

Expect independent rear suspension, better ride and improved handling. Underhood work includes existing 1.5 mHawk diesel, with manual or auto choices Everything suggests the Bolero revamp will debut on August 15 as part of that Freedom_NU or NFA platform rollout. That package covers ICE, hybrid and electric formats. Rumours include electric Bolero versions too.

Vision S may not be Bolero’s direct stand-in. Still it shows design themes likely to bleed into the new Bolero angular yet modern, rugged yet elegant. Expect Mahindra to build on boxy identity in a cleaner, future-ready shell.
