Renault Kiger Facelift Launched in India

Renault Kiger Facelift has officially been launched in India, bringing the first major update since its debut in 2021. The refreshed compact SUV arrives with sharper styling, new safety features and the same tried-and-tested powertrain options, making it a stronger player in its segment.

This car now sports a redesigned grille with the updated Renault logo, reprofiled bumpers, sleeker LED headlamps, and fresh alloy wheel patterns. At the rear, new C-shaped LED taillamps enhance its modern appeal. A new exterior shade and C-pillar graphics further add to the refreshed design.

Renault Kiger Facelift Interior and Features

This model offers improved materials, fresh upholstery and a more refined dashboard layout. It continues with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, digital driver display, wireless charging, and automatic climate control with rear vents. Safety has taken a big step forward as six airbags are now standard across the range.

Mechanically, the Renault Kiger Facelift retains the familiar 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol and 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engines. Transmission choices include a 5-speed manual, AMT for the NA version, and CVT for the turbo variant. A CNG option remains available as a retrofit for those seeking efficiency.

Price expectations for the Renault Kiger Facelift range between ₹6.2 lakh and ₹11.5 lakh (ex-showroom). Positioned against rivals like Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Brezza and Kia Sonet, the facelift aims to give buyers a blend of modern styling, practical features and affordability.

The launch of the Renault Kiger Facelift shows Renault’s intent to strengthen its position in the compact SUV space. By focusing on design enhancements and added safety, the brand is betting on urban buyers who value style, features and everyday usability.
