Toyota just rolled out a sportier take on the Camry in India, called Toyota Camry Sprint Edition, priced at ₹48.50 lakh (ex-showroom). What sets this version apart is a subtle yet dramatic accessory package that delivers presence without changing the core car.

Every Sprint Edition sports a matte-black roof, bonnet and boot, paired with blacked-out wheels, a rear spoiler, and sporty bumpers. All of it gets fitted at the dealership, and buyers get the kit at no extra cost on the Elegance variant of the Camry.

Inside, nothing feels overdone. The cabin keeps the same clean layout found in the regular Camry. Key bits include a fully digital driver display. A large centre touchscreen, a heads-up display, ambient lighting and ventilated front seats. Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 stays on board too, bundling adaptive cruise control. Lane-keeping assist, pre-collision systems, a 360-degree camera, nine airbags and other standard safety gear.

Power comes from the unchanged 2.5-litre hybrid drivetrain. That means the same smooth, efficient ride as before, now with added attitude. Combined output hits around 230 hp, fuel economy stands at about 25.5 kmpl and the car sprints from zero to 100 km/h in around 7.2 seconds.

Toyota Camry Sprint Edition package delivers bold looks. A sporty edge without changing the performance or pricing of the Camry. It is ideal for someone who loves refined hybrid comfort but prefers a sharper silhouette and a hushed but confident upgrade. Thinking Camry just got a personality boost.
