Tesla has quietly landed in Delhi. Today saw the opening of its second Indian outlet at Aerocity Worldmark 3, following last month debut in Mumbai. The 8,200 sq ft showroom leans into Tesla direct-to-consumer style. The lease runs nine years at a starting rent of ₹17.22 lakh per month, rising 15 percent every 36 months.

Model Y jumps into the spotlight in two variants. The rear-wheel-drive version with a 60 kWh battery covers up to 500 km and hits 0–100 km/h in 5.9 seconds. The long-range RWD loads in a 75 kWh battery, stretches range to 622 km, and clocks 5.6 seconds for the sprint. Pricing kicks off at ₹59.89 lakh for the standard trim and ₹67.89 lakh for the long-range, ex-showroom. Buyers can bolt on Tesla Full-Self-Driving suite at ₹6 lakh more.

Booking goes live today, with deliveries and registrations set to roll out in Q3 2025 for Delhi, Mumbai, and Gurugram. That lines up with Tesla plan to build fast-charging infrastructure across major hubs. Superchargers and a bigger support network will follow in Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, and Bengaluru.

Welcome attention from high-net-worth buyers and global business travelers visiting the area. Tesla seems to be treating India as more than a beachhead this feels like a full dive in.
